Arthur Terrell Alford, 31, of Princess Anne, died Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 26, 1986, he was a son of Arthur Holland and Lacolia Alford Harris.

A graduate of Washington High School class of 2005, he was a maintenance worker at Mountaire.  Art loved basketball and was a promising athlete and AAU coach.  He was a Father and mentor who gave great advice and was influential in the lives of everyone he met.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his wife, Krista Alford; Kris Somers, Kayla Somers, Kamryn Somers, Ra-Shaun Fitzgerald, and Montraz Oliver, that were like children to him; Kayden and Kollyn Somers who were like his grandchildren; four brothers, Latrell Alford, Devon Alford, Stephen Alford, and Armande Alford; three sisters, Lacolia Alford, Tomika Holland, and Latasha Holland; a special niece, Dasia Handy; his mentor and friend Cokie McCready; many other nieces and nephews; numerous cousins; and many, many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lacolia Alford; and his brother, Marcellous Alford.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 3-5 PM at Tawes Gym on the UMES Campus.
