Anthony Szwec, Jr., 68, of Crisfield, died Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury.

Born in Philadelphia on November 4, 1948, he was the son of the late Anthony and Mary Theresa Warfield Szwec.

A graduate of Dobbins Vocational School in Philadelphia, he was the owner of Tony Szwec Plumbing for more than 40 years.

He enjoyed fishing and boating on the bay with friends and family. He loved Crisfield but most of all he loved "his girls". He was loved dearly by his family and his community.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Dorothy McRae Szwec; two daughters and their husbands, Jessica and Andy Dunn of Salisbury and Elizabeth and Chris Justice of Westover; two grandchildren, Madison and Colton Dunn; a sister, Judy Ykoruk and husband Alex of Schwenksville, PA; his good friend and co-worker, Buddy Dryden of Crisfield; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Christine Diaz, Carol Black and Toni Joan Zalenski.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 12-2. Reverends Mark Warfield and Robert Daniels will officiate.
