ANTHONY RAY ELLIOTT, 49, of Crisfield, died suddenly Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at his home.
Born in Crisfield on December 14, 1959, he was a son of the late Robert James Elliott and Maxine McCready Christopher.
He had been disabled for several years, but had previously worked at the former Carvel Hall Cutlery in Crisfield and was a butcher at the former Meatland in Crisfield and Wal-Mart.
He had a beautiful voice and loved to sing in church when he was able. He also enjoyed studying the Bible.
He is survived by his children, Mandi Ray Elliott and Jerod Ray Elliott of Douglasville, Pennsylvania; and his siblings, Robert Elliott, III, Joseph Elliott, Nicki Wilson, Lisa Tyler, and Brian Elliott, all of Crisfield, Deborah Dwyer of New Freedom, PA, and David Elliott of Princess Anne.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 12 Noon, at the Crisfield Church of God where friends may call one hour prior. The Rev. LeBron Palmer will officiate.
