Anna Walston Thaw, 77, formerly of Crisfield, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin surrounded by her family.
Born in Crisfield on August 19, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Walter Willard "Wally" and Vivia Nelson Walston. She had been making her home in Pocomoke with her daughter for the past four years.
A graduate of Crisfield High School, she worked many years for Carl Hoffman and Associates in Salisbury.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Mason and husband Carlton, Lori Bradford and husband Brian, and Paula McCready who was raised as her daughter; a sister, Annabelle Parkinson; six grandchildren, Melanie Mason, Heather Ashcraft, Kristy Mason, Adam Altvater, Eric Mason, and Ryan McCready; five great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Bryan, Ryleigh, Levi, and Mason; and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services officiated by the Rev. Tim Shawyer will be held Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where a visitation will be one hour prior. Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Worcester Adult Medical Day Care in memory of Anna Thaw.
