ANNA MARIA CROY, 69, of Crisfield for the past 19 years, went to be with her Lord on Friday, December 28, 2007 from Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.

Born in Vicenza, Italy on August 2, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Carlos and Helena Porzionato Tagliolato.

An Evangelist for the Assemblies of God, her main focus was that she loved The Lord. She led many people all over the world to the Lord Jesus Christ, teaching The Word in many places including Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Texas, California and Italy to name a few. She was a member of the Crisfield Church of God, and was a gifted artist who enjoyed decorating wedding cakes, crafts, floral work and cooking. She loved her children and grandchildren very much.

She is survived by four children, Barbara Berry, Pamela Nettles and her husband Carlton, all of St. Francisville, Louisiana, David Croy of Princess Anne and Debora Croy of Salisbury; 12 grandchildren, April Berry, Anna Cormier, Elizabeth Berry, David Hughes, Edward Hughes, Dillon Hughes, Hank Nettles, Christopher Nettles, Chase Croy, Aaron Culbertson, Hannah Culbertson, and Danielle Culbertson; seven great-grandchildren; four siblings, Bruna Savino and Adriana Kennedy, both of New Bedford, Massachusetts, and Adriano and Lucia Tagliolato, both of Italy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Armando and Roberto Tagliolato.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 31, 2007 at 11 AM at the Crisfield Church of God where the family will receive friends one hour prior. The Rev. Philip Morris will officiate. Interment will follow in Asbury Cemetery in Crisfield.

In lieu of flowers, donations to help the family with final expenses are requested to be sent in care of Church of God, 134 Maryland Avenue, Crisfield, Maryland 21817.
