Anna "June" Evans, 77, of Crisfield, died Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
Born in Crisfield June 3, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Clifton H. Butler, Sr. and Anna Harrison Butler. Her first husband, John H. Anderson, died August 29, 1962, and her second husband, Roy Woodland Evans, died March 8, 1998.
She was a homemaker and a home health care provider.
In her younger years, she was a member of Phoenix United Methodist Church, and later, Mariners United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her flower gardens, shopping, decorating for each season, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was also very stylish and took pride in her appearance.
She is survived by three children, Cheryl Anderson Jacobs, John H. Anderson, Jr. and wife Vickie, all of Chesterton, and Tina Denise Evans Jones of Crisfield; five grandchildren, Anna Elizabeth Jacobs, Jaye-Alexis Jacobs, Kristen Anderson Nordhoff, John H. Anderson, III, and Brittany Anne Hoffman; two great-grandchildren, Aerianna Edwards and Landon Nordhoff; her brothers and sisters, Charles Butler of Ellicott City, Elmo Butler of Salisbury, and Sarah Gerald and Jo Wooster, both of Crisfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her first and second husbands, she was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers, Virginia Cox, Kay Linton, Allene Lord, Clifton H. Butler, Jr., who died in World War II, Richard Butler, and Oliver Butler.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 9, 2012 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where friends may call one hour prior. The Rev.'s Tom Blakelock and Philip Morris will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
