ANNA LEE BRITTINGHAM, 87, of Crisfield, died Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury.
Born in Crisfield on April 20, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Cyrl and Lola Dize Crockett. Her husband, Elwood George Brittingham, preceded her in death.
She was retired in 1985 from Rubberset Corp. in Crisfield and was a member of the Stanley Cochran Post#16 American Legion Auxiliary in Crisfield.
She is survived by six children and their spouses, Shirley and Doug Kidwell of Chesapeake, VA, Loretta Catlin of Crisfield, Ellen and Johnny Parks of Fairmount, Annette and Eddie Hall of Crisfield, Terri and Richard Davis of Crisfield, and Sherri and Mark Harrison of Marion; three sisters, Doris Baker of Baltimore, and Joyce Dize and Jeannie Thomas of Crisfield; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two children, Angela Jenny Dise and Elwood Cyrl Brittingham; a sister, Fay Ward; and a brother, Cyrl Crockett, Jr.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where friends may call one hour prior. Rev's Joe Barnes and Jerry Hughes will officiate. Interment will follow in Asbury Cemetery.
