Angela Rae Peters, 80 of Palm Beach and St Augustine, FL and formerly of Crisfield, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at Community Hospice Douglas Center for Caring in Jacksonville, FL.
Angela was born in Baltimore, MD on Easter Sunday, March 24, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Gladys Blades England of Crisfield and Stewart England of Baltimore, MD. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Peters.
In the late 1960's Angela directed many of the Miss Crustacean Pageants and enjoyed teaching her tap dancing classes. In the 1980's Angela returned to Crisfield with her family and restored The Lavalette House. Her years in Florida were spent spending time with family, restoring and decorating homes, and making many friends along the way.
Angela is survived by her son, John Earley, daughters, Cindy (Bryson) Cook, Deborah Stockdale and step daughter Jamie Peters Wolcott. Her Grandchildren, Alex (Charlotte) Earley, Abby Earley, Laura (Brooks) Wunder, Rosie Cook and Isla Stockdale. In addition to her children and grandchildren she leaves behind her first husband John M. Earley and her beloved Westie, Bella.
She will be laid to rest at Mariners Church Cemetery in Crisfield next to her mother and many aunts, uncles, and grandparents. We will miss her greatly.
A graveside funeral service officiated by Rev. Sumner Jones will be Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 2 PM.
