Allen Lee Thomas "Johnny" of Owings Mills, passed away after a lengthy illness. He was the son of the late "Captain Bill" Thomas of Crisfield and the late Virginia Howard ReDavid of Chesapeake, VA.

Employed by BGE as Assistant General Supervisor for construction and distribution with 44 years of service before retiring in 2005.

Allen was a 32nd Degree Mason, Pastmaster of King David's Lodge #68, member of Boumi Temple Shrine; Past Captain of Boumi Temple Color Guard and Member of the Knights of Mecca.

He was a member of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in Owings Mills, and was on the board of Trustees and Administrative Board.

Allen is survived by his wife of 36 years, Dona Moore Thomas, Daughter Jennifer Lynn Sweren and her husband David Sweren; Son William Allen Thomas and his wife Jamie Mae, Granddaughters Tori Mae Thomas and Autumn Rose Thomas and Grandson Michael Thomas Sweren. Sisters Hilda Mae Dennis of Salisbury, Jeannie Hickman of Crisfield. Brothers Ricky Thomas of Crisfield, Tyrone Thomas and the late Wayne Thomas of Salisbury. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Church 10911 Reisterstown Road Owings Mills on Tuesday at 11:00a.m. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
