Obituary

Alex Juke Marshall, 22, of Crisfield, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023.

He was born in Salisbury on May 3, 2001 and was a member of the Crisfield High School Class of 2019; he remained close with many of his classmates. Over the years, he worked for Pruitt's Resurfacing, The Crab Place, and most recently was working in Marine Construction. He was also a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Crisfield.

Alex loved sports and especially loved playing baseball. He played for the Man Up Travel Baseball Team for several years. Alex was a great friend to many and he had a wonderful personality with a huge sense of humor. He loved to make people laugh and his big smile would light up a room.

Alex Juke was always a kid at heart and loved playing outside with his brother, sister and cousins.  He was so proud to be a father and loved his two children with all his heart.

He is survived by his parents, Erin Leigh Marshall Cuff and Jeffrey Cuff, Jr.; his children, Holden Mykel and Ivy Rose;  his girlfriend and the mother of his children, Destiny Hanf;  his brother and sister, Jeffrey Steven Cuff and Peyton Alexis Cuff; his grandparents, Sherree Marshall, Jeff and Tammy Cuff, and Terri Dale; great-grandfather, Bobby Marshall; aunts and uncles, Heather and William Tyler, Julie Cuff, Dale Marshall, David Marshall, Jeffery Sharpless, and Traci Young; his cousins, James William Tyler, Layla Steven Tyler, Stacie Reddish, Danielle Burke, and Owen Monroe; his Godparents, Lindsay Bradshaw Atkins and Andrew Tawes; and many special friends and other family members.

Alex Juke was preceded in death by his "Pop" and his "Hero", Steven R. Marshall who loved him like a son.  They had a special bond and we are comforted in knowing they are together again.  He was also preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Juke and Peggy Sharpless, and Jean Marshall.

Funeral services will be held at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at 2 PM with a viewing one hour prior to the service. The Rev. LeBron Palmer and the Rev. Jim Riley will be officiating and interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the family for his children, Holden Mykel and Ivy Rose.
