Alida "Lynn" Windsor, 49, of Salisbury and formerly of Crisfield, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
She was born in Crisfield on July 12, 1964, and was the daughter of the late Manson Riggin Johnson, Sr. and Hazel Mason Johnson.
A graduate of Crisfield High School Class of 1982, she attended UMES and Salisbury University. She was a former child day care provider and home health care provider. She was currently employed by the Wicomico County Board of Education as a teacher's assistant at Prince Street Elementary School and by the Salisbury Christian School as an after care teacher.
She was a member of the Allen Memorial Baptist Church in Salisbury and a former member of Somerset Free Methodist Church and Faith Fellowship Assembly of God Church, both in Crisfield.
She loved spending time with her children and her family, reading, working with kids, writing poems for her family and also enjoyed camping.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, A. Glenn Windsor, Sr. of Salisbury; a daughter, Heather Marie Windsor of Salisbury; a son, Glenn Windsor, Jr. of Navarre, FL; a brother, M. Riggin Johnson, Jr. (Kay) of Salisbury; a sister, Debbie Marie Mahan (Alan) of Salisbury. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jenny Lynn Windsor, and a brother, Lloyd Thomas Johnson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Faith Fellowship Assembly of God where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
