F. Myrna Evans

Flora Myrna Evans, 78, of Crisfield, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.

Born in Crisfield, she was the daughter of the late Willard E. Landon and Alva Wilson Landon. She retired in 1992 as a telephone operator with Verizon. She was a member of the Mariners United Methodist Church in Crisfield.

Surviving is her husband, Jerry W. Evans; daughter, Tonya Evans Howell and husband, Rick of Salisbury; granddaughter, Kaleigh Lynn Howell; nieces, Cheryl Shores, Terri Hughes, Sandy Sturgis, Dawn Harris, and Patti Blackburn; nephew, Rick Evans; and sister-in-law, Pat Landon.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Willard E. “Sonny” Landon, Jr.; sisters, Julia Evans and Shirley Landon; nephew, Jamie Evans and sister-in-law, Fay Ford.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Mariners U. M. Church. Pastor Todd Hurley and Rev. Robert Daniels will officiate. Interment will be in Sunnyridge Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home Saturday from 7-9 PM and at the church Sunday from 1-2 PM.
